Irony

Postby Punk Rooster » Wed Feb 10, 2010 9:28 pm

Port supporters have long given North supporters grief over the 2nd lowest total in a GF, 1 goal 8 pts, yet we have the delicious irony that the vote that sealed Port's fate was 1-8 (against)!

So Punky - tough question which one would you prefer if God allowed you to choose?

1-8 OR

8-1

If you know what I mean? One of them is a premiership.

Delicious irony that sealed our fate? Last time I checked we were still in the AFL while North languish in a league which is becoming weaker. North has pretty much "Stuff all" to do with our fate. You are insignificant.

With this sort of stupidity from perfect drug, I wonder if he was the dimwit on Adelaidenow saying that if the maggies disappear the SANFL will '2' byes per round

I thought irony was James Micklejohn appearing in a front page photo under the headline "Save our Soul"?

Didn't he want out from the Magpies and had to be dragged back kicking and screaming....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Unlike that scoreline, Port still has a chance to recover.

& you also still hold the record for the lowest score in a Grand Final, & biggest losing margin in a Grand Final

Now that you've got your jealousy bubbling away, how's the spite coming along? ;)
It's all the SANFL's fault.

I would have thought winning a flag within two years of that disaster wasn't a bad recovery.

He was at the club last night with Timmie G.

Very unfortunate cut of my quote. Makes it look like I said there'll be 2 byes per round  Nevermind, there is 2 byes per round anyway. Whoever has the bye and whoever plays South :)
