I don't think they would be expecting to either, signing a coach for 5 years usually means that there will be a few grim years to get through before the club is expecting genuine success. Its a long term project and I wouldnt expect them to mak finals until 2012 personally.

pretty sure its just a training jumper. I'm a bit of a traditionalist, but as far as alternate strips go, I agree that it looks pretty good. Might even be a blend of the new (logo) with the old hoops they used to wear in the 50s!

What a great looking guernsey and I have to agree with westcoastpanthers reply to mikeyb......

As the great Mike 'Ranndy' Rann once said - "Go South"... ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Don't wish to be difficult but i hate that pathetic jumper look and only hope it stays a training jumper. Cartoon cat head with 2 useless stripes, geez, that's a netball or A9 amatuer club look. However as suggested elsewhere get rid of that rubbish and put in our traditional SA logo then you may have an away gurnsey of broad appeal.

I agree, the jumper is the least of their worries. I note that there are still some sons of past players running around out there who aren't up to it. Good to see the Fuller hasn't got caught up in the politics of the place. I have to agree that the jumper is crap. It may help if they come up with a logo that actually looks like a panther.
