gotta hold onto everything here

Over 51.6: Haberfield to Magoffin, FOUR, DROPPED, plays a big drive and edges to first slip, reaches Harris low down and goes straight through him, and races down to the boundary

i remember being in melbourne at a friends place & she had a 'pay tv' service on, i think it was c7 & they were doing the shield games back then & that would have to have been 15 years ago, agreed though the cost would be a main reason not doing it though

8/164 now!

Over 57.3: Haberfield to Magoffin, no run, OUT, flashes at a ball outside off stump and gets a thin edge through to Ludeman who makes no mistake. WA is now 8/164.

Haberfield has 3/51.

Christian is such a gun, nabs a michelle to finish off the innings and will be on a hat trick next.... match.

All out 189.

Christian 5/24 off 13.

SA will be chasing 94 to win.

Christian would have to be one of the most under-rated cricketer in the Redbacks side

By who?
He has been playing a pretty big role for the Redbacks all season.
Higher honours is not that far away for him.

South Australia will have just under 15 minutes to negotiate this evening. The Redbacks require only 94 runs for outright victory.

In typical SA fashion we lose a wicket before stumps. Smith out.

1/6 at stumps.

Not a good finish with Smith playing on with the last ball of the day. SA 1/6 chasing 93 to win.

Should still win easily though.

Ludeman finishes with 7 catches for the match

I think that was on Optus. I remember seeing highlights of the odd Shield game on the news from back in the day I think with an Optus TV logo in the corner.

So therefore he can not get his hat trick then RM.

Great days play by the 'backs. Really good to see us still be a chance to make all 3 finals for the year, half way through Feb. Good signs

My mate Jake Habberfield has done very well this season and is developing nicely at State level IMO and is ahead of George and Puts for mine. 6 wickets this game including North, Voges, Poms, Robinson all top 5 batsmen going at 3 an over is a handy performance for a 23 year old!

George bowls tight but if he doesnt take a bag seems to not take 2s or 3s
Puts new into the side swings it both ways but i see him more of a limited overs bowler
