Smithfield bowled Playford out in the GF for 91, we passed their score in the ninth over with two wickets down, I should have some pics from the day to put on here during the week.
It was a good day and a fitting end to good comp this season, One Tree Hill have assured us they will win it next season, good luck to them, a good bunch.

Maybe we should organise a Smithfield V Brahma Lodge game?

I'll ask, it might be a bit too late now though, Sunday's are going to be like gold over the next few weeks.

Why not play it on a Friday at Brahma?

because you wont get the use of the oval

What an interesting round in Grade 2 so far, I don't know the Salisbury West vs Riverside score but the other games suggest any of 4 sides could be top after this round. Parafield Gardens could be the big movers by jumping from 4th to top.
Smithfield vs Central United and Playford vs Craigmore are both evenly poised.

I think ATCA asked to have it rescheduled to the following weekend so we didn't have to play on Valentines day.....we're a romantic bunch !

The whole thing is a shambles, why would they wait til a few days before, just to keep up the poor organisational skills that have been shown for the whole competition, the sooner the PDCA find an alternative, the better.

would be good but very one sided, dont think there would be many guys that could handle the likes of J. Vandeleur and i think the batting would be too strong with the guys they have in the side

More one sided than PDCA v ATCA ?

In fact I do remember reading the B&L comp was stronger than ATCA......outrageous.

Yes, not sure about being on turf though, we could alternate who hosts it and include under 16, 15 on the same day. Our club will be pushing for this for next season, a one off game will see the better players more interested IMO.

I meant that I'm not too sure that we'd match it with ATCA's best.
