Yeah I noticed that last week mate and its on my must-see list ... Good actor Viggo, was sensational in Eastern Promises and A History Of Violence.

I too am looking forward to seeing this, apparently it is very close to the novel, I have read the novel so I am not expecting too many uplifting scenes
and it is done by John Hillcoat who did The Proposition and Ghosts of the Civil Dead, both very good films

Fantastic Mr. Fox

Most vapid Wes Anderson film yet.

And that's saying something!

Really want to punch him in his preppy face...

Hired 3 movies the other night....turned them all off

Fighting
District 9
The Taking of Pelham 123

None of them kept my attention, so I decided to play the PS3 instead...

Inglorious Basterds

Tarantino's latest self-indulgence is virtually unwatchable.

I have to say I agree with you in an overrall sense. Some of the scenes I felt were very compelling such as the early scene where the jew hunter visits the farm and a later one where the secret meeting with the French actress/spy comes undone. But the rest seemed a bit of a mess and being a WWII history buff I couldn't cope with the alternate history ending.

That new one with Meryl Streep in it, cant remember the name as it was so bad! Maybe my age had something to do with why the movie was so unappealing.

Was that the one with Alec Baldwin in it? I went to see something else and they showed the preview of that movie. Next time they put him on a big screen with no clothes on I'd like a decent warning! :ymsick:

All downhill after that first scene at the farm.

Even then it dragged on way too long. Tarantino loves to waffle. Can't help himself.

At the end of the day, he's really just a shlocky B-Grade filmmaker who has the luxury of working with A-Grade talent.

IG is his most juvenile film yet.

Some even take him seriously.

Have to disagree. I thought it was quite good - but was it about Nelson Mandella's role in reunifying South Africa or about South Africa not choking in an international sporting event :D .
