I dont think the clubs want to be the executioner, so the answer is yes.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Id say there are three votes of yes from Magpies, Country/Affiliated Leagues and Norwood, meaning they will need three more.

No doubt North will be against v(they think they run the SANFL)... unsure of other clubs.

You're probably right, I wasn't given an answer either way but I know the board were looking at both sides of the proposal and they're pretty keen to see the Power start profiting.

Perhaps yes, perhaps no.

Play good footy and win games will help make the Power money.

Not sure the loss of the Magpies would be a positive for the Power's coffers.

SANFL administration influencing clubs to vote no in favour of their own prefered 8 team comp. AFL influence of Dimitriou threatening to remove licences of BOTH AFL clubs from SANFL ownership (Rucci is right here the AFL can take back ownership of the licences) if this is voted down.
This outcome is vital to the future of our comp given Victorian based AFL control of AFL licences being lost to the SANFL (bye bye dividends to SANFL clubs) and is hanging by a thread. Incredibly short-sighted and as foolish as a no vote would be for the long term viability of our comp i believe this is now looking likely.

But there has been no threat to take any licenses away darley. That's just rucci fear mongering. It will work on some people.

Sleeping, i am no fan of the Rucci but the point has been made clear by the AFL on this matter, Rucci not rumour mongering on this particular issue.

Yes there has been. Not sure if the threat has been raised with relation to this, but it was used recently ....... remember a recent announcement about playing AFL at Adelaide oval, and how the SANFL have mysteriously come to the table.

The licence threat is a nonsense and just fairly typical Rucci hyperbole.
