If you believe the interweb Russ is indeed going to be part of Heroes Vs Villains - he'll do OK if the close filming dates means that the other contestants aren't familiar with his style, otherwise he'll struggle I reakon.

Some other good names from Survivors past though - and plenty I've never heard of due to not watching the last few seasons:

Colby & Jerri from Australia
Rupert from Pearl Islands
Coach from Tocantins
Boston Rob from Marquesas

As a massive fan of Survivor I can tell you that Coach Wade "the Dragon slayer" is sooo annoying and arrogant that he is fun to watch. Tocantins was quite an unentertaining series apart from coach.

Agreed. The bloke played the perfect game. It never ceases to amaze me how worked up eliminated contestants get with 'integrity' and 'honesty'. It's refreshing when someone just admits getting beaten by a better player, like Shambo did in voting for Russell.

I'm glad Russell gets a second chance now with Heroes vs Villains.

The best player in history does not win because of a bitter jury. What a joke. Mind you, I spoiled it for myself by researching his name on Wikipedia a month or so ago.
How much weight had Natalie put on since leaving the show? Looked like a different person.
That jerk that spoke last on the jury won it for Natalie in my opinion. She didn't make much of a case for herself.

Yea, I did notice the weight gain, she looked completely different. She had the makeup caked on too, I actually think she looked way hotter when she was out in the scrub without all the makeup and crap on!

Yeah, although at the reunion, Monica was the hottest for mine. Does anyone out there reckon Shambo has scored a root in the last 15 years?

that was one of the great jury episodes. Obviously, as the series has progressed, a few have worked out it's their chance to make a big speech, and certainly a few took the opportunity.

Erik needed to get over being knocked out early. he was way too bitter. Was hilarious though.
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.

but how funny was it when Erik says that Natalie gets his vote when it was Natalie that orchestrated his departure

I think Russel is clearly the only person that has played the game as it is a game

how some of these people can try and say its just like real life etc - is beyond me, they obviously arent the smartest!
