Are the Hills and Torrens Valley blokes missing out on Aussie Day Celebrations tomorrow?

Looks as though Hills won the Meyer Shield. Batting first they compiled 4/223. The last I heard, TVCA were 8/170 odd with handful of overs left.

TVCA game tips for this round -
Lobethal Tigers will welcome back Tyson Rathjen and smash the Gumeracha Magpies.
Kersbrook Cavaliers to continue on from last round and destroy Lenswood Ranges.
Woodside Warriors and Paracombe Pirates to end in a thriller with the Pirates victorious.

Top four finishing prediction: (3 Rounds remaining)
1 - Lobethal
2 - Kersbrook
3 - Woodside
4 - Paracombe

Gee DLO, your crystal ball gazing is so visionary

must be hard to pick loby over gum - 1st over 5th...
kersbrook over lenswood is another real flip of the coin - 3rd vs 6th
and the fact that the pirates only scored 94 from 40 overs at paracombe last round MUST mean that they'll pull thru in a tight one...

Seriously, with the Cavaliers playing both teams above them before the end of the minor round it appears loby are assured top spot with Woodside, Kersbrook and Paracombe fighting it out for the remainder.

The pirates play both lenswood and gumeracha and should win both making it tough for Kersbrook to stay in third.

My final 4 is Lobethal, Woodside, Paracombe, Kersbrook - ensuring very interesting semi finals.

Lets hope the weather doesn't play any part in the rest of the season!!!

Good Hitting :-bd

Congratulations to Lachie McGregor on smashing 107* n.o. for L.Creek against Hahndorf.
Playing his 1st game for the Creeks and having his 1st hit for 3 years, he hit one of the most scintilating centuries seen which included 9 sixes. Coming to the crease at the fall of the 5th wicket in the 28th over, he immediately despatched the ball to all parts of the ground. His last 50 coming coming off about the last 4 overs.
For the record, the Creeks recorded one of their RARE victories on the Pine Ave Oval.

Rumor has it, the ex Broken Hill boy will be a more than handy pick up for the Creek footy club as well after spending a few seasons at Glenelg.

Well, not quite. Kers 5/194 def Lens 184. Dropping close to 10 catches ( ](*,) )curtailed our chances, and frankly despite an entertaining run-chase had we won we didn't deserve the points. A couple of injuries for the Cavaliers not what they'd like before finals.

Woodside destroyed Paracombe apparently, the Pirates mustering a lowly 50 odd with the willow.

Hmmmm... after Saturdays game at Brook Park I hope Lenswood SMASH the Pirates and knock them out of the race for the finals... In their last 2 games they've scored less than 150 runs - ALTOGETHER!!!! but they still keep up the sledging like they're 1000 runs in front!!! Classic Paracombe Pirates :ar!

As for the Cavaliers vs Lenswood game, simply - dropped catches lose matches. Lenswood dropped 10 and luckily for us Kersy only dropped 7... better pick up the standard before finals boys

After seeing Lobethal first hand for the first time this summer in the previous round, I can't see them being beaten. That far ahead of anybody else we've come across. 7 straight. :-?

i believe after talking to a couple of the meadows lads that the umpire was going to make a report on how terrible stirling were. To lose 20 wickets before tea is terrible. maybe they need to step down next year?
