Without today's profits you'd be down over $700.... works both ways.

Normally you average out your profitable days and if you have a day which accounts for a large % of your return, then long term it doesn't stand up.

I wouldn't keep thinking about your -$1200 day. Fools hope.

But in my defence the JC success is built on value and not plonking $1200 on a favourite.

Most days are an outlay of $200-$400, not $1200.

But what's done is done, and I've learnt from the mistake.

(plus a profit on Maskiell which I didn't post, so won't include)
(plus a profit on Avdulla which left me in a position to lay his rivals ride, which I won't include....)
