I agree BC - Any big, giant, massive unit playing in a Riverland team will be handy

He'd have to be pretty handy you'd think, being an All Australian country ruckman and only 21. He's also a very handy forward when resting. He is 201 cm's, built like a man mountain and one of the biggest blokes I have ever seen. He is a massive unit.

and if i read correctly playing for the love of it... just wants a premiership like all the blokes who played for renmark last year!!!
must only be on $1k a game if he could have got $25-$35k playing elsewhere???

Not even in the ballpark FLM.

Barmera signing those Port District boys up this week. $550 a game. not bad coin for a bloke over 30, one 29 and another who couldn't make the Div 1 team towards the end of the season. I can guarantee our ruckman is on a lot less coin than that per week.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

BC earlier on this page you made the following statement
"Not sure mate. I'm off the committee now, so don't really know what's going on."

So do you know or don't you know??

I'm not that passionate. Just love going to the footy and sucking back a few brews. Time for some new blood to get in and have a crack. I'm no good on committee's.

I think it was more that the club alreadyhad recruits and they couldn't fit the four of them in as they are mates they wanted to play together. They are also good mates with the barmera boys from districts

Haha. Good one. Port Districts are going to be lucky to have a team this year with all the players they have lost. Good try though ;)
