i don't know about that, i prefer the wrestling from the 1970's & 1980's to what they do now, but that's just my opinion

I had an interesting chat with a mate re WWE and TNA.IMHO WWE caters for the younger fans while TNA is trying to cater for the older audience.
Hence 70's 80's looks better compared with the current WWE IMHO.
Not sure with TNA once the band has gone it may get better!!

I'm not suggesting it's any better now. Just too many cartoon characters in the early to mid 90s for my liking.

Some recent funny moments in TNA, Homicide's attempt at trying to escape from the cage on the 4/1/10 Impact and the audience at ringside turning their backs when Val Venis beat Daniels (ex-WWE jobber beating a TNA regular who was main-eventing PPVs 2 months ago!) at the recent PPV.

And has Angle left and gone back to the WWE after the impact screw job last week or was it just another work ?

Of course it was a work. I believe WWE lost interest in Angle when he kept getting into trouble with the law late last year.

Not sure why TNA are doing another rehash of an incident that happened in the WWF 13 years ago (and is also one of the main WWE storylines with Bret Hart at the moment).

Agreed about the screw job story, it's just taking the piss out if WWE and if they want to become number 1 they'll need to worry about themselves and not WWE.
I didn't mind Daniels losing as I much prefer Curry Man!

so tna is back to a 4 sided ring Boring What made TNA cool was the mixtures and promtion of new and up comming talent but if u are using frail old hacks like Hogan, Nash, Val Venis, BG James and guys who shouldn't be there the Nasty Boys, Scott Hall. I will not watch it

Then there's 'The Band', which is just another name for the 'NWO'. Can just see Hogan eventually joining.

Let's hope so, best Wrestling days of my life was the WCW days! :D
Let's hope they learnt from their mistakes.
Good on them for wanting to go Number 1 realising the format they had before was good but wasn't going to take them there.
But I do miss the 6 sided ring.

I'm pretty sure they haven't. Hogan, Bischoff and Russo were the 3 main guys who were responsible for WCW dying, their next kill will be TNA.
They'll never overtake WWE like WCW did because they don't have the money to throw around (and waste) like WCW did. It's a shame because some good competition might make WWE lift their game and make them watchable again.

Jim Cornette didn't like the 4/1/10 Impact - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPoTqKFm ... re=related (has swearing).

lmao, that's funny, my son actually asked me last week what had happened to Jim Cornette.
He comes across as very bitter but does make some very good points about the Jeff Jarrett/Hogan confronatation as I was equally as confused and the motorcade stuff is funny stuff.
I suppose at least we're talking about TNA, I'll continue to watch as I'm loving it as you just don't know wtf is going to happen next.
I think they're just trying to fit too much stuff in to too little a time at the moment but it might be worse for us only getting the 2 hour show, I should download the full show and see if it flows any better.
I still think from a business point of view they're on the right track, for every hard core wrestling fan they'll lose they'll proably pick up 2 morons.
Interesting times.
Still spewing they're not coming out though, I would have forked out twice what I did to see the current line up from the front row. :(

Yeah, some valid criticisms there.

It has picked up somewhat in the last couple of weeks though.
They're trying to make TNA mainstream and that's gonna upset people, especially when they make mistakes along the way.
I don't mind the 4-sided ring, but why the ramp?
It leaves very little room for the high-risk moves that people have come to expect :-k

Look for me Tna is rapidly losing all the things that made me like it. 6 side ring gone, lack of old wrestlers and more emphases on youth looking like is gone, most matches being ok,good or great also looking like its gone. I dont much care for the mainstream attempt it was better the old way, wrestlers like sunjy dutt and petty williams in the x division, tag teams like americas most wanted and lax and main events ron killings and monty brown, yeah it might be more popluar now and I do love and respect some of the new/old wrestlers they have bought in but seriously Tna has made its name on being the company with the 6 sided ring that has good to great wrestling matches and gives the yonger wrestlers a chance to make a name for themslefs, now its becoming wcw mark 2 and its not even becoming the good part of wcw or nwa its becoming that shity stuff from late 99-to its closure.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas
