If it was a group of 4 players that had come to Lincoln and happened to all play for the same country football team, would you do the same thing?

Probably not because he kids don't look up to them. It's the whole 'are footballers role models' thing.

My mate was with the players all weekend and he said they were all angels.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Tiger07, I was over for the tunarama festival and was at the same pub with my family, I thought that all the crows players there were doing nothing wrong, I went over to them and had a chat then introduced them to my wife and kids, my son asked for a few autographs and they were all happy to do so, then Roo went and got my kids a soft drink, my kids couldn't stop talking about them and how cool it was to meet some of the idols.
It sounds to me like your the one with the problem tiger07, how about you find something better to do with your time than have a go at a group of guys enjoying there weekend.

if you were do disapointed and shocked. Atleast let us know what was done or said? Were they being loud and having a good time, did they drop a 'F' bomb. heaven forbid a group of lads in their twenties drinking and having fun. Unless they were violent and / or abusive to patrons or staff, or cares! why mention it.

I bet the kids are really proud of their 'give up" father. What, you couldn't just leave it at demonstrating to your kids the samples of good and poor behaviour and hope they learn the lesson that maybe just maybe there are better role models to take an example from.

Welcome to the brave new world of AFL football.

Once you're on a list, your behaviour (rightly or wrongly) is subject to the whims of "the people who pay your salary" - club members/supporters/somehow-I'm-a-stakeholders. You are a character in the Saturday morning "AFL Follies" cartoon.

I couldn't give a damn about what the Crows players do. Their supporters should take a good hard look at themselves and the way they behave at AAMI though.

Right on brother. God forbid the stadium management to write a letter to their employer regaling innapropriatte stories of umpire cursing, wearing club scarfs, drinking beer when they tell their wives they're going to the lav. Bloody disgrace

Or spitting on opposition supporters including women and throwing stuff at opposition supporters including women.
I got your sarcasm B130 but the things I have just mentioned happen regularly and are unacceptable.
The things you mentioned plus banter between supporters are all part of the fun of footy and should never be taken away from us. Maybe piss off the beers with lids idea though  . A bit of beer spillage happens. Getting 4 beers from the 20/20 final the other week and a bit of beer was spilled here and there. Big deal!

good sticking to the topic VOICE......!! you love throwing this in randomly, how many times have you mentioned this spitting incident in different threads?? ....

Voice and others, unfortunately S##T happens all the time, just visit any pub on a friday or saturday night. this sort of behaviour is not limited to Crows supporters, port supporters, parents, kids, teenagers, grandparents, the unemployed, the rich etc etc etc. generalising is EASY. you would have to be extremely NAIVE to do so.
cheers.
