All of these got cancelled
They will say because Peisley isnt going to have a ride all bets will be refunded
Has anyone else got any bets on other jockeys with them?
Im going to write them an email if he gets up too.
Keep up the good work folks

cheers
Big al

Plenty of other times that jockeys didnt ride that they have not cancelled bets on other jockeys. I had Lever yesterday and they didnt refund me even though he didnt ride his last two mounts (even though he wasnt going to win)

AG said one day Rawiller (AOJ) picked up 3 good rides in the famous dodgy sting when Brown ( I think) pulled out before the first race. They did not cancell dodgys bet then bacause Brown pulled out....

Why has this happened all of a sudden?

I will wait to see if he wins before contacting them.

as soon as a jock is on a horse and the gates open he is declared a starter in the JC not matter what happens after that.

I agree with brod it has happened plenty of other times and they havent cancelled. WHat price was Piesley? if he was short then they could get stung by refunding all his money and then having to pay out on inflated odds on the winner...

Imaging If this was the case in a JC....

Jock A $1.20
b $10
c $10
d $20
e $20

ect...

If they refunded all the money placed on jock A the $1.20 pop then they would be liable for big losses when on of b,c,d or e win.
Image if you knew a jock was going to pull out before a meeting before the TAB? In the right case you could load up and not lose.

I can see where the bookies are coming from but I have never seen it before... It needs to be clarified.

No point contacting them win/loss or draw

Its printed clearly in there terms and conditions
Rule 126

'If any individual jockey in the market does not compete at least one ride for the meeting all wagers on the Jockey Challenge will be cancelled and monies refunded'

All you needed was Peisley to ride in at least one race then your bets would have stood.

I think he was about $13, so not even close to being the favorite.

Funnily enough though, Taree was available before race 2, and Ipswitch available before race 3!

I went down to the TAB aswell...
