Sounds good. Hope they get the approval to do so.

An excellent idea! Lets hope it goes through as suggested, its good to see clubs recognising the need to invest into their home grounds to maintain a high standard for the SANFL.

Norwood Oval is not a very good place to take small kids, as it is 100% concrete. Perhaps they could allocate some of these funds to plant some lawn.

LOL, either tell them to keep still, or give them knee and elbow pads, or make them wait until the breaks when they can run on the lawn inside the fence. ;)

Most RSL's if not all use West End products. Would this affect Coopers at all or what is the deal on Beer rights ?

Yeah it's not good. A Glenelg U17 player broke his wrist cos of it in Prelim Final 2008.
The only thing that saved his back was the Nth Adel stretcher leaning against the wall took the full brunt of his body's impact when he hit it, instead of the wall.

So there goes some more $$$ padding the wall...

or they could knock down the grandstands, build smaller ones and have an oval big enough for under 15s.

I was there that day, a very nasty incident that could be avoided with some padding
