Was that your back on the channel 9 news Sarge??

Very bad news for the club, hopefully the insurance crowd will push things through fast so they can get things fixed quickly.

1 - memorabilia lost is of little signifcance - Sperling & the media were sensationalising there - all the good stuff is located elsewhere
2 - BEWARE - insurance does not always cover poorly maintained electrical work that should be the clubs' responsibility

TRue alot of the good stuff is not in the changerooms, but the banner above the back door to the gym was something that cant be replaced. It was amazing and unfortunately it has gone!

Expect a strongly worded communique from Rooster HQ today. Highlights only.

"We deplore the use of Crows facilities...by West Adelaide...NAFC does support training....but just not here...no option but to explore...merger options with the Redbacks"
'People are not stupid. They know when they are being conned. And two reserves teams operating in a League competition will reduce it to a farce, a competition without a soul.'

Does the club need an volunteers to clean up or assist? Serious question, we might be able to arrange a SAFooty volunteer force to help out....

I hope the Power doesn't offer assistance, imagine the outcry... ;)

Seriosuly, couldn't be any worse timing for Westies, but.........I did notice that the 'Tiser said Collins was returning to Adelaide today from Melbourne. I'm assuming it was for the long weekend, just found it odd a well *ahem* paid Senior coach would not be in the state at this time of year, pre-season and all.

Dutchy, put me down* as an extra pair of hands if the SAFooty crew is requested.

Thanks to those who have offered to help. I'll keep you posted if anything is needed.

Booney, thanks too. You'll be pleased to know that Andy was at Westie's training Saturday morning and will be there tonight. I think his whole week, whether at Richmond or not, is pretty much football-related, so it would have been a rare long weekend day or two off for him.
