if so how much did you lose personally?

Paul Marks does a good job if he rides in the south-east and is a GRSA steward.

yeah im in the syndicate

currently involved in one that is still racing.

but i havent been screwed over like some of the others

im involved in a syndicate at winning glory syndicates and they are so more professionally run its incredible

theres a new one out raceday syndicates, but i personally will be staying away from that one

Whys that mighty-tiger?

Race Day Syndicates are new. They are a registered business with an abn number. Pups have been sourced in conjuction with Rob Tyler of Reason kennels so they are purchasing well bred pups.

Agree with you that Team Bundy has given greyhound syndication a bad name at the moment. But unlike Team Bundy Race Day Syndicates is run by someone with a proven business background which should hopefully help.

proven business background - yeah i can agree with u there

but he also managed a syndicate i was in and in my honest opinion he let the dog get screwed when it was young

thats just me and my opinion

i certainly hope any investments you make into the syndicate are worthwhile and you get a good run for your money

The Remember Sandy syndicate. Thats the young dog that had to many runs in a short time that was then removed from that trainer and sent to another trainer. Trainers when they are interstate can be asked to please not over race a dog BUT if/when they do over race a dog all the manager can do is remove that dog from that trainer and send it elsewhere.

His dog died at somepoint. Global Fury was the name. Not sure what happened really, neither does my mate.

Global Fury is actually still alive and was retired and is now living on the couch in one of the part owners house.

Thats what it says on the Team Bundy website, but not what my friend was told.

I have been in many greyhound syndicates and from my experience trainers WILL over race dogs when placed on 50/50 arrangement. In their mind they are recieving no fees and will try to take advantage of as much prizemoney as possible (especially trying to beat the grader).

This tactic will quite often backfire though as a greyhound will 'put in' more when raced on the fresh side. Try telling a trainer that !

well monday is d-day for brad, i hope he fronts up, faces the music, learns from his mistakes & then moves on with his life & end up wiser young man......

to brad,
well we've all made mistakes in our lives & we all do regret them, now there is no point 'running/hiding' as you'll always look over your shoulder so just go in tell them the truth & why it happened & apologise with sincerity, then see if they'll allow you to work through it or pay it off etc etc whatever the case may be
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Went to Angle Park today and noticed some nice bright Glossy publications scattered around called " Get it together - Greyhound syndication - your guide to Greyhound syndication ".
Very impressive and informative.
Noticed on page 2 (back of front cover).
Brad gully Quote " Fill your walls with winners photos and your pockets with cash "

and another quote from him " Own your own greyhound STRESS free and for next to NOTHING "

Under the current circumstances i would think it be advisable for GRSA to withdraw these publications to save them from embarrassment.

Stewards were scheduled to open an inquiry into “Team Bundy” at the offices of Greyhound
Racing SA on the 25th January 2010.
Team Bundy’s Manager Mr Gully, this week failed to appear at the scheduled inquiry and
continues to fail to provide details of syndicate members as requested by Stewards at GRSA.
The serious nature of the allegations leveled against Mr Gully has resulted in GRSA
• Cancelling Team Bundy’s registration under Local Rule 27(7)
• Mr. Brad Gully is now classed as a “warned off person” until such time as he
attends the above mentioned inquiry.
• The continuation of no transfer being accepted for any greyhound under the
ownership of Team Bundy without the approval of the GRSA.
As a result effective from Monday 1 February 2010 all greyhounds in the ownership of Team
Bundy are unable to be nominated for any race or Qualifying trial.
Although Mr. Gully has notified stewards he intends to transfer the management of all
syndicates currently registered under Team Bundy, to the individual syndicate members,
GRSA is unable to make further comment until such time as relevant information is received.
If any Team Bundy Syndicate members would like to provide any further information to assist
the Stewards, please send correspondence in writing to GRSA at P O Box 2352, Regency
Park SA 5942 or email Chief Steward at paul@grsa.com.au

Allegedly through a threat of legal action against proboards the host of the forum.

Nothing has changed.

Still advertising. Still has the GRSA link on his web page.

All that's happened is that other syndicate managers cant register syndicates in SA without a letter from a Lawyer stating they either meet all regulations or don't have to meet any regulations.

On a side note: See its been advertised GRSA CEO Peter Ali has officially stated he wont be re applying for an extension of his contract meaning his position terminates in September this year.
