Yes, spending $100m on a new facility is certainly no way to treat the members. Get back to us after the Ashes test next Summer and tell us how bad it is. :roll:

it will be great next year, Im talking about this year, during the test (max attendence days) we get half the oval, during the T20 final (another max attendance day) we get 1/4 at best - I got there 2 hours before the first ball and all seats in the stands were taken...

A small inconvenience for the benefits to come, I'm sure. Blame the council for not pushing through a liquor licence for the back area, that would have cleared some members out!

Rubbish, you have a bigger members area to accomodate the expected attendance of members. The rest you sell as general admission. Nothing to do with the Council, just bad planning on the SACA's behalf.

The second part was tongue in cheek, sorry if that wasn't clear.

Members for the most part of T20 have been below average attendance, can't hold an extra area just in case they want on the bandwagon. Reduced capacity means everyone gets inconvenienced a little, I'm sure it wasn't a bad night out, regardless.
