Having an assessment this friday, hopefully they test for body fat, so I can monitor where I'm losin & putting weight on (ie the right places). Another RPM class tonight, followed by half hour weights session- starting to feel good!

WHAT ARE WE EATING ?

Are food manufactuers dicing with our health by manipulating
food for extended shelf lifes ?????????????????????????????.
Profit comes before nutrtional health ?
Here are some word associations.

Pesticides
Chemically induced ripening
Chemical Fungicides
Waxing
Irridation
Genetically modified
Trans fatty acids
Preservatives

The list can go on and on and on........

If you dont get my drift,

Meat goes off in days, but in canned foods lasts weeks/months.
Home made biscuits + cakes last a few days but last for months in stores.
Apples go off after about 10 days, yet some are 6- 12 months old after cold storage+ are sold.
Bread goes mouldy in about 10 days, but some take-away bread rolls dont go mouldy until a few months later[refer a certain large junk food retailer on this one]

Most CANNED/PACKAGED foods are made to last.
Some have very little nutritional value, eating the can or packet might be more nutritious!!!

MALS tip : Eat natural food in its original state
meat, poultry, fish, fruits + vegetables are staples.[MAL loves his FIGS]

Anything in a can or package should be treated with suspicion.

Good luck.

Body fat converts to muscle, which may increase your weight in the short term.
Do not despair trooper you cant lose weight every week.
Your still a comfortable 6.4 kilos lighter than me.
I am giving you a start but as you well know, I like to come from behind.
