Just as I was about to go to air a small snipit of Amanda Blair went to air ( by mistake ) then they played Fitzy's Thirsty Camel noise ( a camel making a God awful noise ) and my comment was "Which one of those noises was Amanda Blair...?"

Jus went to collect my prize and spoke to Fitzy in the foyer, he was chuckling about it when I introduced myself.

I have always wondered why they dont have more flavours, Ive had them all but just stick to Vanilla these days

Golden North tributes probably deserve a thread of their own - But Im in the same boat ... As a kid growing up my folks swore by GN and I can remember regularly cutting out a slice/chunk of Ice Cream from those rolls they used to sell, and there was no other ice cream that would compare.

Lets start by saying I am well overweight and very unfit.

But,after just 8 sessions back at the gym and with a mild hangover this morning I have hit the 3k mark on the treadmill. Might not sound like much to you fitness freaks but the first session ( just two weeks ago ) yielded a run of just over 400 metres so to go from 400 m to 3k's in a little over two weeks Im chuffed.

Each session also includes 20-30 minutes in the weights room.

Starting to feel better already and I rate that.

Top effort Booney! When I got back into running it took me a lot longer than two weeks to run 3 ks in one go - the motivation was always the hardest part. Keep up the good work. :D

And another four to put the blasted shade cloth on! I should have built it myself and got Dad to paint and shade it - although standing on top to put the shade cloth on would have been far more dodgy if I had construced it...
