As it stands I think Josh Carr is one of the most massively overrated AFL footballers in the modern era. He could pinch hard, knows a few swear words and managed to follow the same bloke around most of a game but give him the red leather thing and he's a bit lost. I seriously and honestly hope John Carr plays the season with you.

milbo wrote:Obviously the NFC has been bitten by a lack of club commitment by your AFL contingent to make such a inane comment about a situation you clearly know J.S about.

Mainly by Kris 'optional finals for you too Ricky D?' Massie who's now coaching at Glenelg.
'People are not stupid. They know when they are being conned. And two reserves teams operating in a League competition will reduce it to a farce, a competition without a soul.'

Sorry but you failed to explain your "no emotional ties to Glenelg" comment... thats what my post was about. Each to their own with opinions on his footy ability but questioning his commitment was incorrect.

I did read on Big Footy that he was injured at training yesterday, I believe he's had an op, but I'm not sure how serious the injury actually is.

seeing the move of giles to sturt because he finds it hard to get into the league team, how the hell does brian think he'll get into the central league team  :? , to move anywhere the obvious choice is south because of parry's departure or port although micklejon seems to be back with them.....but the bottom line is he isn't good enough at league level atm he may improve with time (most big blokes do) but he is far from a league footballer atm
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

But that all means jack sh*t when you fail to kick a higher score than the opposition!

Like your forwards when kicking for goal???

Glenelg flukes the occasional premiership?!?

But seriously, i reckon Glenelgs season this year will be exactly like Norwoods season last year...lots of hype, the odd big recruit...Glenelg won't finish in the top 3...you can quote me on that!

I will second that no way the bays will finish top 3 they are a club with a lot of mental issues have been proved to be to soft when it counts time and time again

LMAO, mental issues, take a look in your back yard champ.

I'll take crap from a Centrals supporters and hell even after the Prelim I'll take derision from Sturt supporters but I'll draw he line at you lot.

Sure we screwed up last years major round as the previous years Grand Finalist, but I'll take that over screwing up a whole minor round a la North 2008. That screams mental issues.

Gee you last beat us in 2006 and even then after we gifted you the win due to an errant kick in defence.

If we're soft time and time again what does that say about North as a club when the only team we can beat "when it counts" is your mob...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
