A not uncommon problem.
I bought a new Queen size mattress for my bed recently and carefully measured it first to make sure it conformed to the dimensions to which sheet sets are made.
A few people passing by in Harvey Norman were obviously a little puzzled, but the salesman knew what I was on about..

That's one thing I DON'T miss about my partner not working as a paver any more - the alarm going off at 4am. The worst thing was that he used to press snooze and go back to sleep, so I'd get to hear it again at least twice more in the next half an hour. :Hangman:

People collecting for charities like Save the Children. You know, the ones who set up a table in the shopping mall and then start a conversation with you to try and lull you into a false sense of camaraderie, so that when they produce the form asking for your bank details you'll happily agree to give them so much per month. They did it to me at West Lakes once - I was already giving to Amnesty so I didn't feel too bad saying no, but then one of them followed me and tried to lay the guilt trip on. My son burst into tears at this point so I turned around and told the bloke at the top of my voice that he might want to save the children in Africa but he didn't seem to mind terrifying the ones in Australia, and that he could bugger off. Now I just avoid them altogether by yelling 'NO' in a menacing voice when they approach me. It works. :D

Had heard Blakey mention on a few occasions that he thought it had run its race a few years ago but AA wanted him to keep doing it, KG's departure probably lessened the material...although always found the Keith and Pilko ones amusing.
Trust the process.
