Tall athletic CHB HBF come wingman..... handy player he won TTG's B&F over Bruno

Ah ok cool thanks. Looks like we are trying to sign the whole TTG club, haha. I suppose it helps with chemistry when you get 2-3 that have played together before. Will be interesting.

well youve taken 3 of there top 5 Noske only played half the year after a knee recon but is a quality midfielder, bruno is hard running and tough and polly good accross half back. TTG cant replace these 3 you have done well

Although Meningie have recruited very well, they still will be behind Mannum in the recruits stakes:
Meningie- Brunoli, Noske, Polly
Mannum- Hall, Clayton, Hunt, + a couple others,

Mannums problem will be A, can they afford every1 in both points and dollars B, Will Hall & Clayton be allowed out of SANFL contracts

Why don't Mannum replace Port Magpies in the SANFL?
They're spending more than them!

Agree with you Goldberg....but if both players are cleared to Mannum they will be unbeatable in the centre.

Could be a huge void between the top 4 & bottom 3 this year. No-one really knows what Mypo, Tailem & Jervois have yet, but with the reported in's of the top 4, they will have a hard time

How will the go with the points if the rumour comes true??? Surely they would be up there with Brunoli, Benbow, Noske etc???

Spoke to a source in the know (altho on the sauce at the races) & he said Mypo have recruited a Ruckman, no name yet, & also that they will have the youngest league side ever seen in the RMFL this year. He also said they had 38 to the first training, & only 3 of those hadn't played junior footy at the club. Will be interesting to see how they go against the $$$ of the top 4.

I read in the Standard that Mypo are a chance to get the leading under 17's goalkicker from last year, Gene Robinson i think is his name.

I think Tailem will have a fairly young side as well this year.

3 stars if you ask me. Not just 3 good players, 3 of the best 10 in Div 1 footy. Brunoli obviously the medal winner, small but ripped us to shreds last year. Pollock tall CHB, strong body still athletic. Noske had problems with injuries last couple of years, but was a standout in 2007. Brunoli and Pollock (with Culpitt) were Tea tree gully last year, Meningie have done very well to pick them up.

Is he trying to poach players from his previous club after stating he wouldn't? Thats just part of footy these days mate. Not saying its right, but it happens. (This may not even be the issue, just guessing)

I hope that there is more to it then that and you aren't making a big deal about player poaching?

It happens all the time and as a signed coach doesn't he owe it to his new team to gather the best recruits and put the best possible 21 that he can in his teams colours? That's football.

Be interesting to hear more on what the issue actually is?

As for Mypolonga, I find it amazing that all their youth has stuck together and they can field the two senior teams based on players who played their colts there. Even if Mypo have a very lean year this year (as many of us are tipping) surely they are building a very strong back bone for years to come. Jervios too will be young as will Tailem Bend.

I'd rather see young locals filling up the teams, rather than spending money on dud recruits who are useless, like the blind recruiting that went on in the Dent era at Tailem Bend.

I think Dent had the right "idea" but it was poor executed, with the wrong type of players off the field as much as anything. For a Low local numbers club like Tailem Getting 4-5 1 point players in a single year means the following year you have all your points to the go get some Guns, so long as those 1 pointers aren't costing u too much. He tried this but failed to produce the Quality 2 or 3 which they badly needed.

Who is Polly? Never heard anything about him

Steven Pollock, currently training the house down with North Adelaide, to add to Ben Noske & Brunoli
Ah ok then. What type? We really could do with some bigs
Tool of the century.. IMO highly over rated aswell. He will play well in a good side but not a hard ball getter. From what ive seen the RMFL is a tough league and not sure if this will suit him at all
