For me the Vics to get up.
Are batting is just not good enough and can someone put Taits stats for this year 20/20?

vs WA: 3-0-2-21 (Gayle, ct Manou, Voges, lbw)
vs QLD: 4-0-0-35
vs VIC: 2-0-3-12 ((Hodge, ct Harris (2nd slip), White, bowled, D.Hussey, ct Cooper (mid off I think)).
vs TAS: 4-0-3-27 ((Paine ct O'Brien (fine leg), Dighton, ct Manou, Geeves, ct Cooper (short fine leg))
vs NSW 2-0-0-29

Correct I dont rate him and he cant bowl more than 2 overs in a spell  I noticed his test av of 60+ but we will agree to disagree on this one.

Pretty sure its Manou's choice not to bowl him for more than 2 overs so he can have a crack at the lower batsmen who come in after destroying the top order and leading us to victory like he did against VIC and TAS.

I think he struggles in the longer version aswell mate, he needs the batsmen to take him on, they don't have to in anything but limited over matches.

Just watch some of the Vic top order when facing TAIT
Ive noticed some apprehension form HODGE , QUINEY when he played
Ive noticed THE DAVE looks intimidated by TAIT

On the subject of Tait
Special talent
But has a body or a bowling action that leads to injury
If that limits him to being a limited overs player sobiet
Im sure in a perfect world he would love to be fit and fring and playing Test cricket
Who wouldnt
It must be frustrating for Taity and even more when he others frown upon him

Maybe, but the man doesn't have a big heart ... replace it with one from Siddle or Merv Hughes and things might have been different.

Why do batsmen wear helmets, arm and chest gaurds, pads, gloves etc ?
It's NOT because they havent got a big heart and courage, it's about injury risk managemeant.

Why isn't Tait playing the longer form of the game atm ?
It's NOT because he hasn't got a big heart or lacks courage, it's about a commonsense approach to injury risk managemeant that will enable him to perform at his peak in the shorter version of the game.

Purely speculative
If your body gives up, can we judge the character or heart of the person ?
Tait lacks endurance, that much we can all agree on
He has a frail body for whatever reasons
But Ive never seen a lack of heart when he is bowling
I see a guy busting his guts, bowling as fast as possible, and possibly neglecting injury for the team.

He is still one of the most devasTAITing 20/20 bowlers in the galaxy
And lets hope he gets that devasation in 50 over cricket[and SS + TESTS but doubtful]
Lets not forget he was 1 of the BIGGEST reasons we won a World Cup in the WI in 50 over games not so long ago

Actually Thiele, the toss is made at 6:15pm, and the game starts at 6:45pm. 30 minutes between the toss and play seems like a long time to me.
