Good to see the "Croats" with the flares etc at the tennis.

Molik loses in 3. The signs actually weren't good in the first set, which appeared dominant on paper. Missed a number of easy forehand winning chances and timing looked a little off throughout.

The only thing between Tomic and the third round tonight was a couple of years of conditioning work, meat on the bones. Kid is the real deal.

It was one point that he just couldnt get at the end of the third set.

I was not impressed by Cilic at all. Have not seen alot of him but jeeze Tomic made him chop and change and didnt allow Cilic to settle into the game for the majority of it!

Definitely the real deal aswell IMO

I heard Courier say Tomic has the biggest difference between his fast forehand and slow forehand in the game.

Certainly forced some errors from Cilic and you would think it would be a good way to conserve energy too

Not being an avid Tennis follower, I am wondering what the general consensus of Tomic is?
It has obviously been reported there are issues between him and Hewitt, however listening to part of his post match interview from last night on the radio this morning, I could not help but get the impression that this kid is an upstart in the making..
He complained about his match schedule and that at 17 he should not be expected to play in later games as finishing his match early hours of the morning should not happen to someone his age...
Now correct me if I am wrong...
He is playing mens tennis and playing for a cut of the mens prize pool $$$$.

Seems to me that we are looking at another "jerk" in the making...

It seems he is very poorly advised by his father. It must be hard for these blokes to let go and allow more qualified professionals to further their son's career.

Yes he is a spoilt brat in the making. If someone can get his Father away from his tennis career then he has a chance.

Federer, Nadal, Roddick and Hewitt all complained about the scheduling last year with the late starts. I agree with Tomic. However, using the age as an excuse is pretty disgraceful i reckon.
