Not dissapionting IMO.
Linga the Ranga deserves it. Geelong thru & thru. Not Many clubs can boast a home grown captain nowadays.
Just hope it does not affect his game.
I would have loved Scarlo up there too. Not since Mick Martyn has a full back been the heartbeat of a side.
Mind you i love every bloke in the blue & white hoops

Im not disappointed Lingy got it, just disappointed someone else didn't.I've always been a keen supporter of very longterm captains be they at Geelong, North or any other club, just my view.
But you do make good points about our window closing and Lingy being around for that period.
