looks like goolwa had another big win- two in a row now, making a late dash to the finals?

With 3 rounds to go the top 4 is still so close. I tried to do the mathematical thing but fell short of finalising the fourth spot. I reckon 1 win in the last 3 games will be enough for Bays & Pt Eliot. Districts have Maroons, so a win against either Willunga or Goolwa will secure a spot for them i would have thought.
Who will be the 4th team?
Will Aldinga hold on?
Willunga, Golds & Goolwa all ready to pounce just the 1 game behind. Who will it be?
What's everyone else think?

Golds v Aldinga in the last round might be a telling factor too.
Will it come down to percentage?

Too close to call!! I think Bays are the only side that is safe at the moment.

Yes the race is hotting up for the top 4 and some interesting results on the weeked made it better viewing. I think the top 4 will be:

Enc Bay
Pt Elliott
McLaren
Golds/Aldinga

Cant separate the last 2.

My view on the weekend playing Elliott was that they have a fantastic bowling lineup with plenty of strong options in Johnston, Kuss, Goldsmith, Robertson, J Consalvo, Ellis. All very nice otions, i do think that they rely too heavily on 3 batsmen and that can be seen as their weakness however they are definately a side to keep an eye on. I also would like to say that i enjoy playing against them as they are good blokes and very good for the comp.

I will say that we were rapt with the win though.

yes i do believe we rely on three batsmen but really we all just try to pitch in and get a score, it was a good game if we were to of held our catches i think the result would have gone the other way, with binga out and h robertson nursing a bad thumb the batting line up was a weaker one.....and some shocker of decisions too...d petrucci was caught on the crease his foot directly on the line of the crease and with his foot right in the middle of the white chalk line for middle stump hit him right infront, tiny didnt budge...tiny wouldnt give any of ours yet trigger fingered to get us out. ...but excuses are for losers i guess, we were beaten by the better team.. great battle and i hope you guys enjoyed playing on such a wondefull oval

In the opinion of the forum who is the best and worst bowling attack in the league? If you were to go purely by stats Compass Gold is the worst by quite a way is this a true reflection?

So, Golds the worst in the comp ie not including maroons? How about with the inclusion of McMillan?

any side that only makes 101 on such a wonderfull oval does not deserve to win As for H robertson nursing a bad thumb he is also nursing a big head his side was in trouble and he tried to smack duncomb out of the park second ball then bowled short rubbish 0 28 off 6 . dont blame the umpire look at your own poor performance
