What happened to Kingy at Henley? Is he coaching somewhere else?

Hey Riddler Kingy has got a promotion at work this year he will be playing for the Shanghai Tigers in China.
He was keen to go again but then got offered this positon.
Met Darryl last week he has similar footy philosophy as kingy has so hopefully will be in for a good year.

Is Darryl going to be a playing coach??

If so that would be a HUGE coup for the raiders! Both very good players. Whats their connection with Houghton?
Noticed that most Birdwood players are going to Payneham though.
Any other big recruits besides Greeny, Tappy and Davis?

Have heard Starry back and C. Dow too, but only what I heard. Also may have picked up a bloke called Mizza!

Sounds like some good recuriting work going on there. Is Ben Hunt still the Houghton coach?

Yes, Ben "Rexy" Hunt is still the coach.

i would have thought getting someone like that on board would be a master stroke..overqualified perhaps?
Not sure mate, I wasn’t on the selection committee and have been away for a month or so. Perhaps deeman is on the money - we would definitely want someone who is on board for all games and trainings.

Nonetheless everyone is pretty excited to have Colin at the club. He comes from perhaps the most successful Amatuer club in South Australia with fresh ideas and opinions. With you blokes and CLG in our divsion this year I can't remember the last time I looked forward to a season as much as in 2010.

Mitchell Park will be starting our pre-season on the 28th of Jan.

I never said anything about wobbly mate i think u better read the posts before you quote people
and i doubt we do i got no idea what players get paid at our club since i come back playing in 2001 i have had to pay to play every game so not the right person to ask. I wouldnt have a clue what other teams are doing im only concerned about our team and just looking forward to the start of the year

harvey to EBFC and apo interstate i believe..their B grade won the flag so i wouldnt think slide but lets face it..they have a lot to proove after going 0/4 last 2 years in finals..everyone at clgfc would be aware of that but its going to be a damn tight competition..you wont need to be far off the pace to finish in the lower ranks..

Im not quite sure that winning the B-grade flag would have any influence on their a grade. How many players in b grade are capable of coming up and having huge impact other than maybe one or two developing kids. Those Losses will hurt them massively

w/e..i dont really care freo..you think they wont try to recruit players to cover 2 players?..get a grip..let me ask you this..would you rather have the premiership team or the team that finished last as your support group to the A grade???? no brainer right there..

its football clubs..they are forever changing personel..everyone comes from somewhere and i would say not one team in 2010 will claim they have the same players as they had in 2008..thats how it rolls..harvey will be a loss for them no doubt but what did he give them in the finals series? i saw the games..did you?

kfc also lost ther best player in 2009 in steve cooper..i am sure they will/have replaced him and moved on..one player does not control a clubs destiny freo..unless you allow it to

have a nice day..

Could not agree more with you Zed, you have to keep replenishing your list. Getting new guys to inject a different style and view. Alot of clubs rely on too few to do too much. In saying that will be a telling year for CLG.
