One of the most well known voices in the history of rugby has died.

Great, great commentator and ambassador for the game who was loved by all...missed you when you retired Bill will be missed even more now you're gone for good.

Oh No

Growing up in the NT and getting our ABC feed from Qld I grew up listening to him with the weekly Rugby show. The highlights of the 5 nations would be shown in Feb and March with Bill McLaren Scottish brogue a feature. Always understated, he let the pictures tell the story and loved how he always called the Referee Mr ....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
