Any truth to the rumour that Larry Hanson may be dusting off the newberry and returning to his beloved Cockledivers as a specialist batsman?

You were up early this morning deep heat? Good performance by the cove boys yesterday against a young Seaford. Macca & Wags bowled well early having cove 2 for none. D Thomas & D Hibbs 70 odd partnership and rest of bats chipping in nicely to make 258. Bowlers bowled well to chip in with a couple each. Hats off to Seaford for giving the kids a go, hopefully those kids develop into long term senior players for them.

Well done to the SCA boys who went to KI and played well and come away with a good win. Great knock by scarffy who belted a 114 off about 30 overs and B Ross chipped in with 36.

J Muir and Feathers bowled really well down breeze picking up 5 between them and a new young off spinner with alot of talent got belted but picked up a vital wicket at the end. Also some bloke named shorty took 4/0 off 1 over including a hatrick.

SCA 9/219 KI 118

Should really take it out this year with a good team.
