The colour of the cheese flavouring in instant macaroni cheese. I don't see why it has to be so orange. That being said, I really like instant macaroni cheese, but it doesn't stop me from glaring at its offensive orangeness while I'm eating it. :-q

You wouldn't want to live up here then...bloody Jocks will hardly touch 'natural' coloured cheese...almost all of it in the shops is dyed bloody orange especially cheddar. They do the same to their smoked fish too

Sorry forgot to add the ;)
I didn't really think it was Tartrazine in proper cheese, but I wouldn't rule it out here at least in cheese marketed by the multinationals.
Usually, here, the 102 goes into yellow soft drinks, and lower end chocolate products for that nice bright tan colour.. [e.g. Tim Tams]
I didn't know what was used in cheese though - thanks for that. :)

I was recently told by a friend - who found out when - attending a seminar-
that Tim Tams no longer have any chocolate in them - they are just fat with colouring and flavouring.
Don't know how true this is but I haven't touched one since !
Makes me feel :ymsick: just thinking about it.

My Year 10 science teacher told me all pineapple lollies are flavoured with the same compound (bile, I guess) that makes vomit taste like vomit. :?

How about this guy going all-in with quad Aces and getting beaten by a Royal Flush!

Probably butyric acid. We made some in Year 12 Chemistry and stunk out the school. I had to get my uniform dry cleaned to get rid of the smell. That's what happens when you let a music teacher teach year 12 chemistry.
