LF, heard there was 30+ at training monday in 40+ degree heat, including Nathan Edginton-Fry, who looks in much better shape than he has in the last 3 years! Good start for the club![/quote]

how are the clubs that have started training go for numbers?
there was a good 40 out at straths first training last night.with a couple of new faces plus a couple of bigger boys not seen at the club for a while

Did I hear correctly that Cleggett from the Creek to be moving on or did I take a double dose of heart pills and dream it?

Had a chat with Joe Pedler in London on the weekend and he's keen to start his coaching career at old iggies. He did bring up a curious point that he's spoken to a few old iggie students he taught and they are keen to play BUT they are also planning overseas trips midseason.

Seems the curse of the rich kids over seas trip will stirke iggies again next season.

Heard Iggies have signed ex Sturt Premiership full forward Stephen White, played at Goolwa this season and maybe another player from there. Not a bad Pick-up.

That player wouldn`t be Z Ewer or H Wilson by any chance.

White up front, Ewer & or Wilson in the Guts & Pedler down back! Handy Start for Iggies Recruiting staff

They will be very hard to beat...

I would hope for Mypos sake, they havent got Gaskin and/or Sterzl.. with all the excellent youth at the Larks, u would hope they would giving the young lads a run before these big, slow lumbering old blokes... Dont get me wrong, great, even fantastic players in their heyday, but the Larks should be lookin to move forward, not backwards..

Gasko was close to (if not) the Emus best player in 2008 before having 2009 off. I have no doubt he would still easily make the Emus A grade now so theoretically should be a solid pick up for the Mudlarks.
