He'll declare before that.

Not too sure about that NFC. He'll give North a chance to get some form back and he did say pre-match that he wanted to 'make a statement' to England. It is only session two of the second day so there's plenty of time to bowl Pakistan out twice. I reckon he'll give the bowlers a nice short burst tonight, say 45 minutes. That gives Punter enough time to maybe get to 300. If he gets past his high score he'll go bunta and try and crack everything.

Talk of rain around for the last two days of the test, may affect his decision. May affect my cricket watching in Hobart also, more to the point!

Punter out for 209.
Mohammad Yousuf seemed to offer up a prayer of thanks after he caught him .
Makes you wonder if he waits for divine intervention regarding field placements and bowling rotations as well! [-o<

Mohammad Yousuf is a better batsman that he has shown in the first 2 test matches averaging over 50 in tests. I'm tipping a big one from him this match, only issue will be his support.

Pakistan 3 /74 Yousef Run out Johnson 6
What a great arm Johnson has!

Butt will not want to get back to the dressing room too fast!

I guess it will be the classic case of a captain kicking butt. Never a great idea to run out the captain :)

In fairness to Butt with the second run out is Pakistan don't really need quick singles right now, they need 2 batsmen to spend some time at the crease ... and how was the call from Rudi???? :D
