Of course there's always the possibility that this is exactly what KFC wanted to happen.

Put out an advert that doesn't cross the line but gets close enough to it to get people talking and the media moralizing...result is they save a fortune by not having to show the advert so many times cos everyone else does the advertising for them by talking about it...and they still get their bums on seats. Just a thought.

No such thing as bad publicity...unless you're Gerald Ratner of course.

this is all hilarious....its funny that I have not once heard anyone over here talking about it, no major news organizations were talking about it...i think the tiser quoted someone from ......the huffington post...which is a farrrrrrr-left media outlet that no one gives a **** about...massive over reaction from anyone who sees it as racist.

FFS, the windies were sponsored by KFC a few years back and they were probably playing on that...well said psyber, living here PC has gone ******* crazy!!!

On an american based forum someone said something similar and I responded with this:

I don't find the ad racist. But i find this funny a guy named Tommy Tiberville this wekk was named Texas techs new head coach over Ruffin McNeill. Ok Tommy is white, Ruffin is black. Race card gets played people are saying Ruffin didn't get the job because he is black. Mind you Tommy did have a 13-0 season in the SEC one of the toughest college conferences. But that is how the Yanks work.
