The bus costs you can't expect the association to ensure clubs get home games so you can have a mini bus to the away ones, surely people can just drive themselves to a game of cricket.
How are the guys that weren't too well in the heat on sunday?
Our fees dont cover the costs for players playing as it is, we use fundraising to fill the gap. While the T20's are a another opportunity for clubs to raise some funds they also reduce the opportunity for holding other social events.
Obviously the bus was an extraordinary cost (i didnt mean for it to sound like it was a regular cost involved in playing T20 matches) and was only done because of the weather and the distance some players had to travel, it also allowed the boys to partake in some refreshments after the game with the NH lads.

We were left with no choice thanks to the lack of communication by the association (RE: association games). With the christmas break and pending assoc. game that was the only free sunday we could play it on, as it was we had to postpone an already organised social event. A midweek night game wasn't an option due to the location, North Haven was just too far away for some of our members who live down south to travel after work.
