Hahaha. I thought you were f****** around when you said that was you. You're still a f****** unit though. I have some mates who are pretty mad Collingwood supporters and they would be pretty impressed with that tatt.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

These were on the wall of the Collingwood Hotel - not sure how well they will come out in the photo

That's me and the missus with Eddie (Joffa took the photo) with some other good stuff

I wasn't happy - I wanted a photo of Joffa and me with Eddie but the missus got a bit upset about her being left out all of the time. She seemed to think she was only invited so I could go without getting grief from her ;)

Anyone who's been to the Collingwood Hotel would have seen these

I got it done in Alice Springs last month - took a week for the basics

the old logo would be the least of my worries if i were jimmy!!

when i got a close look at the ink a couple weeks ago, a few of the little men look heaps weird! i mean weird like they're arms are bent the wrong way, arms longer than the rest of the persons body, hands 4 or 5 times as big as their own heads, and little things like that.

still impressed with the dedication to your club though jimmy. big props.

Last time I caught up with Jimmy 41 at the Barn Restaurant in McLaren Vale I made the poor man cry.
He got there before me and when I got in ....Just gave him a slap on the back to say I was there.

Little did I know he had just had some work done.
Cried like a 6 week old baby and then just started shaking.

Let it be known I'm not a fan of tatts.
But she who just turned 18 went out and got one on her arm.
From the wrist up or is it down ;)
Its some sort of corset ribbon I will get a photo of it the next day or so .The Tatt parlour put a picture up on their myspace page, I understand .

Some large guy fainted while she waited her turn something about not eating ;) .I think he left and came back when my daughter was getting her's done .She didn't bat an eye . ;)
Now I have heard this most of the week my "arm is so swollen" and "When will the swelling go down". ;)

I'm glad I was in my "formative" years in the era when tatts were reserved for wharfies, rock 'n rollers and (very) hard footballers. If I had been growing up in the current era I know I'd be sporting some ink that I would have regretted down the track.

they just get it cause they want to look tough
but like Fatty Lumpkins said, if I got something like that, I would just regret it in years to come!

I know it's all down to individual reasoning, but I think you've just touched on the reason why, for me, I'll never have any regrets about my ink ... Because they are all easily hidden and they all have important meaning to ME.

Yeah i have my daughters name Baylee inked on my left inner fore arm in a nice cursive text with her birth date as part of it.

Don't think ill ever regret as she is my daughter but do agree with many sentiments on here, i could never get a dragon or skull and bones just because i like the picture. I would really like to get the West Ham hammers sign but think it would be a bit weird considering i have never seem they play live so i will be giving that one a miss.

My next tatoo will be a central district design including all the premierships, still deciding on size and placement of this one before i even bother thinking about costs and so forth. Im really indecisive on where i want this one so taking my time to decide.

For sure, totally up to the individual, didn't mean for it to sound judgemental. Just not my cup'o tea that's all. Love the Sega vs Nintendo idea by the way, would love to see some picks of it when it's done Strawb!

thats another good point
it should be easily hidden, if I was to get one, would be a chest, shoulder blade or top of the arm job so I can still wear a polo to work and not have it poking out to say hello!!

whufc, If I had children, Id definately say there names would be inked somewhere on my body. same for if I lost one of my closet mates or family, i would get something to remember them by.

The other thing I have thought about is a family crest on my back, nothing big, maybe just larger then a beer coaster. I would maybe design one that incorporated both my last name and my mums maiden name.
its a decision for life so you wanty to be sure about it.

I doubt anyone saw the spread of tattoos through society coming.
An observation was made in England back in the mid 90s by a prison doctor that 95% of the prison population had tattoos.
Few in the middle class had them, virtually no females. An educated person would see them as barbaric and tasteless.
Now throughout America, the UK, Europe and Australia the ink has spread.
