Not even an unbroken 9th wicket stand of 35 could get NS home
THORNLEY 14* [15]
Dan SMITH batting a stoooooopidly low 9 chimed in with 20*[14]

NS were 0/9 off 4 balls when Warner put HUGHES on strike
HUGHES a first ball duck

NS
1 ...2/9
2...3/15
3...4/15
4...6/20
4.2 ..7/21

7/21 off 26 balls

RIMMINGTON 3/13 [2] Surely has booked himslf a World Cup spot to open the bowling with TAIT
RIMMINGTON bowled 3 balls at henREBiques
Outswinger that beat the hen
Oitswinger the hen drives but beaten
Inswinger hen drives caught behind
Awesome bowler ho also got whambam Warner out

VETTORI 1/6[2] 3 catches, a ripper 2 overs

Once again QL have defended a total
And now have a sniff to play in the finals

9 overs was too short a game, but how could they dissappoint the REBless crowd of 29743
A record for Domestic 20/20

NSW 7/54

Last two games, NSW have scored the two lowest scores in Big Bash history. Gee they're in some sort of rot (and the Redbacks will there to pick over the leftovers Sunday night).

Why the hell are NSW playing their Twenty20 matches at ANZ Stadium. They're only attracting 30 000 in an 80 000 seat stadium using an ordinary drop in pitch that faces east-west and the ropes are severely brought in (so just about everyone is a mile away from the action)! SCG holds low 40 000's (so 30 000 would fit easily), the small size of the SCG is ideal for T20 cricket (plus everyone is closer to the action), and they have proper pitches (though they did totally stuff up the pitch for the second test).
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Okay smart ar$e, well played! I'll use the term Redbacks player just to match your intelligence, How's That!!! Still Out!

lighten up !! just having a bit of fun....maybe i should have said ben warren or josh thewlis :D ;)

Who was the Crows player who was pissed off his brain at a wedding i was at Sunday night and that was after a huge night out the previous night as well and then had to front training Monday morning.
Obviously not just Carlton players on the piss, just that they get caught out more often.
Taity was also there but behaved in a lot more professional manor.

Dont know who the SA player was on Friday night, but do know a few of the lads like to hit it hard now and then.

Shahid has a 24 hour window where he can return to play, if other things fall into place. He wants to play and at this stage it is more likely than not that he will play.

Technically TAS can still make it, but realistically (without MASSIVE wins/loses) it is

- Winner of WA v QLD (to finish second)
- if VIC beat TAS (VIC finish 3rd)
- if VIC lose to TAS (loser of WA v QLD finishes 3rd)

so if TAS win tommorrow night the WA v QLD game will be winner take home ground advantage fort he Prelim Final

I really don't want WA to make it.
With that batting line up, especially if GAYLE is fit, they could do anything!
