how many points will that cost berri, seem to be using a few on average players

Do B graders count towards the points??

I dont believe so. It is the players actually playing on any given day in the A grade.

I don't have any info on Berri. I'm no longer on the committee, so I'm not up with it all.

My two cents worth:

Indys should remain top 4 system. Personally, i LOVE the final five system the SANFL uses, but not with 9 teams. 10 yes. You have to have more sides miss out on finals than make them.
I remember 1995 indy grand final was played week after RFL gf. That worked well, and we had a 16 week season then.

People and clubs have got to get pro-active with footy and not say "oh no, not an extra 2-3 weeks of footy each season". WTF?? If you are saying this than how can you say you love your footy still?
Some people would jump and say "awesome! 2 more weeks of the best part of my life each year!"
Younger people can put their hand up and gain some valuable life skills and leadership qualities if some 'old heads' relinquished their 'power' within the club and trained up these young fellas with spare time on their hands. I was a club president at 30 and even thats old. Nathan Schumann is now president at Paringa and thats a good move for him and the club. Arrod Westley is 25 and the future looks bright at Swanland.

16 week seasons lets every team play each other twice, once home, once away - which is fairest, but may not be possible with vast distances between clubs and so many breaks in the season.

Back to the final 5, it adds an extra final - which is good for the RFLs coffers - but it adds 2 weeks to the length of the finals, and sometimes the top team may only play 1 game of footy in a month (1 week off means 13 days since your last game, then say they win first final, go straight through to GF and its another 13 days till you play. So effectively your in-form team takes to the field once in 27 days. This contributed to a lot of minor premiers' downfalls in the past)
I'm not Schizophrenic and neither am I
