Not trying to cause a stir Wedgie but if you try and quote a reply that has over 4 quotes. You get an error message what's happening and I've done it not proud of it  ;) .Is delete one of the quotes from the top of the reply .Of course we should just delete all bar one of the quotes ;)
Same thing applies to smilies over a certain number you get an error message .

I hope that explains things ;)

It doesn't explain why you can't use the Preview button like I suggested.
Ive had to edit a lot of posts with more than 4 quotes to post and have never had a problem as I use the PREVIEW button. :D

Well I do use the preview button when I'm posting pictures of under-size fish ;) .And I post using Firefox which picks up my spelling mistakes for some reason my IE doesn't(cant find spelling in the settings) .
BUT when I post something and see that something has stuffed (happens a lot)up I use the EDIT button .

Think yourself lucky Wedgie wasn't that long ago maybe 12months .According to my superiors at work I couldn't use a computer .Plus they thought on my wages I couldn't buy one
And I can't think how long ago I started using the net 15 yrs perhaps or more.

Like everyone else we all get lazy Wedgie .But I think you have made your point I'll delete all but the last quote(like now to get rid of the smiles) if there's four from now on ;)

Was good to see Chubby at Westies training on Monday night!

After discussions with Andy, he has decided Eagles is not the go, and he will be back playing the Bloods.

Unless Harts or Ferguson play up forward, i cant see him playing League! A good dilemma for a position we have craved for so long. The key backs could be our strength this year 8)

Great to see Chubb at training & playing with the bloods. The club has recruited very well in the key positions & this will add pressure to players like Willitts & others. Its the first time the club has had real strength down the middle since the Richarson boys were around

Chubby could be handy at centre half forward.

Can certaintly take a mark and isn't a bad kick for goal.

If he's only ever had 5 shots at goal I agree with you bloods, cos he's only kicked 5 in his career.

IIRC he was a handy wingman when he first started his league career but ended up playing as a key back, because of our lack of key backs at the time. He performed in the role very well despite his lack of height his long arms made up for his lack of height though.

I still the remember the day he kicked his first ever goal. I think it put us in front against Norwood with about 5 mins to go after trailing all day. Was one of the loudest cheers I have heard at Richmond Oval.

Have heard / read that the McEntee brothers, Luke at North Adelaide, and James at the Eagles are finishing up their SANFL duties and playing SAAFL with Adelaide Uni. James mainly played reserves footy with the Eagles I think.

If true, it's a shame about Luke, he was only on an AFL list the year before with the Hawks and whilst he had some injury issues, he managed to play some senior footy with the Roosters last year, didn't he ?

I would think Chubb would play his best footy in a back pocket on the third tall of the opposition. He hasn't played SANFL for around 4 to 5 years.
West have plenty of options in our key defensives posts in Fergie, Silvester& Hartlett.

As for Centre Half Forward again I think the club has options in Webb, Willitts. & Hartlett & even Fergie

Some good news for the Maggies with former junior ruckman Tim Walsh signing up to play SANFL next year.

FRESH FACED: Tim Walsh after being drafted back in 2007.

DELISTED Hawthorn ruckman Tim Walsh will return to Port Adelaide this season in a boost to the depleted Magpies’ hopes of challenging for a finals place.

Walsh, 19, was cut by the Hawks after breaking his foot in VFL affiliate Box Hill’s semi-final loss to Port Melbourne in September.

He signed with the Magpies on Monday and began light running at training this week.

``I’ll do about three weeks of running before I get in to the ball work,’’ Walsh said.

``Hopefully I get a trial (game) in and play Round One.’’

Walsh had returned for the Chrismas holidays to his family’s farm in Cowell on the Eyre Peninsula when Hawks football manager Mark Evans called to let him know he had been delisted.

``I was pretty shattered. I was playing really well at Box Hill so I think the broken foot had a lot to do with it,’’ Walsh, who spent two seasons on Hawthorn’s list, said.

``But I’m also looking forward to working and spending time with my friends in Adelaide and at the footy club. It’s good to be home.’’

Walsh was selected with the 27th pick in the 2007 AFL Rookie Draft after impressing in Port’s under-19s and the state under-18 team.

He spent most of the 2008 season recovering from a knee injury, missed three months of football last year with ``bone stress’’ in his foot and was never promoted to the senior list.

But Walsh, who had two pins inserted in to his broken foot following last season, said he was confident his injury battles were behind him and he could add leadership to the young Magpies outfit.

``I ran on Monday night and it feels really good.

``Hopefully I can help out the younger ruckmen and give a little bit of input in to the midfield.’’

Port coach Tony Bamford said he was pleased to secure the 197cm tall.

``Tim will give us a bit of height along with Cameron Cloke (the Power rookie taken by the Magpies in the SANFL mini-draft),’’ Bamford said.

Aren't their tennis courts in Menzies Cresent, not sure that is close to the Bay.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
