If Mick Platten only did things for himself, then he wouldn't be down at Argana Park as often as he is, he'd be off doing something else.

The Plattens and extended family have the EFC in their hearts.

Maybe I'm a bit sentimental and parochial - but I've never seen any of the stuff you're talking about Couch Coach.

Actually, if you're going to take shots, maybe you could reveal who you are. Then we might know if you've actually got credentials to make these sort of comments, or are just another keyboard warrior.

Good luck to Matt and the Eagles in 2010. Wish I was there to wear the blue and gold again.

Dogwatcher. I also think that the club is a good one. I think the people at the club are doing the best for the club as I wrote in my last post. I have just got a thing about Matt. As for the Platten family they are a great family and I have known them for over 35 years.

Queen Vic. I was not bee involved with mick Platten I was just saying what I have been told buy other's that are at Eliz. I take that one back. I see that you were at Barossa when he was. So what you have just said has answered a question that I have wanted to know for a long time.

Advice: Keep ur personal opinions to urself mate. No one cares. Got a problem with Matty take it up with him urself. Dont do the gutless thing and try slag him off anonymously on a public forum, not warranted at all.

Brahma Lodge had there first serious run for 2010 tonight. Only had about 20 on the track. Very disappointing and hopefully not a sign of things to come. Session was well run by youngy and will have all the players who attended off to a good start for 2010. Just need more boys out there to push everybody through.

I know a few boys that weren't there tonight will read this and hopefully you will make it out on the track for thursdays session. Club at 6:30 for another good solid session.

Why did he leave Salisbury North????

I think you find that he is good mates with the new smithfield coach! i didn't think he played "A" grade at S/North only "B" grade, but i could be wrong. He did play last season at central united?

Knowing the coach would have been the clincher but I think opportunity more than anything. Good player and did play a few A grade Games including a Final in '08 but more B grade over the past few yrs. Will be very handy in Div 5. Clever player.

I have no problem with personal opinions (I have quite a few of my own - lol). I do have a problem, though, with opinions when they're slamming people with the person doing so couching themselves in anonymity.

Take a chill-pill mate, don't take the bait. I have nothing to do with the Elizabeth Football Club and can realize that someones going fishing. The Platten family have been fine ambassadors for the EFC and anyone that has ever played against them over the years has the utmost respect for the Plattens.

Youngy is the Runner and a fitness freak so I guess you could say he is the fitness coordinator - payney was doing what he does best - moving cones
