TA 9/108[20]
SA win easy
Tim Paine cost TA the game
He only had to play sensible, which he is very good at
But thought he was Stan Mcable and tried to hook the 20/20 superstar Tait first ball of the innings
Very costly
Dighton same shot same result next ball, but thats the way he plays
Birt and Bailey didnt do enough

SA 4 from 4 and gotta HALF home final

Good effort by the Redbacks. I gave them NO chance at Halftime.

Tickets for the Grand Final go on sale tomorrow at 9am @ Venuetix. Reckon they might be gone by 12 tomorrow

Brilliant effort in the field tonight. It shows that if we don't fire with the bat we are still in the game with the ball.

Tait you champ.

Also with Cleary's dismissal... was that not a no ball? That looked well above waist height.

well what a game it had everything in it, hatricks, dead-eye dick run outs, even the fielding was first class by both teams etc etc, but you are all aware of that, there is two puzzling questions so i'll ask the cricket guru's in here

why didn't shaun tait win man of the match ? (his first over won us the match)

what was tim paine thinking considering all they had to do was bat sensibly although imho the pitch had movement & varied bounce

the last 16 wickets of the match fell for 112 runs

i've noticed in the T20 format that the full toss is a wicket taking ball

I assume O'Brien got man of the match.

Would have been a tough call.

I watched it on Fox was had the benefit of seeing a decent angle of it and I reckon Cleary's was a lot higher than Lockyear's which looked to be a legal delivery. I wasn't surprised to see it given out though as umps rarely give a waist high full toss as a no ball these days.

It probably went in our favour in the end, I'd give up Cleary's wicket anyday to have the scalp of an opposition #3 who was going along alright.

BASS are still going (dying a slow, painful death), but they've pretty much only got the Festival Centre/Her Majesty's (who own BASS) now.

Back on topic - what a comeback from the Redbacks tonight after that dismal collapse!
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10
