Baltimore and Dallas look scarey good.

Interesting now that the Jets play the Chargers. If the Jets win, and the Ravens get over the Colts, the Jets get a home AFC Championship game lol.

**** Tom Brady and the Patriots, hahaha.

Yeh the horse shoe team... hahah. They'll be playing the Baltimore Ravens

Saturday in the US, Sunday here. I think (dont quote me) it will be 11.30am here in Adelaide on the Sunday. Unsure of television times as yet, tvguide.com.au is say it is being shown, but that may change once they know the teams that are playing.

Jets played well, but I can't see them beating the Charges.

Lucky we're playing the Chargers then.

No. 1 Defence in the league doesn't mean much I guess.

Should be a good game, great defense v great offense. Unfortunatley for the Jets, their offense is fairly 1 dimensional. Chargers have plenty of offensive options.

Jets form overrated, Bengals have been awful in the last 5 weeks with injuries and death hitting players.

Open race this year. Saints and Colts have home field advantage through to Super Bowl. Don't know why, but I think the Chargers are a good bet.

The problem for Arizona is their hardest game is this week. If they can get over the Saints, I think they will play in the Super Bowl.

Jets @ Chargers
Code: Select all
NYJ                         vs  SDC

321.0 yds Offense (20)      to  326.9 yds Defense (16)
172.3 yds Rush Offense (1)  to  117.6 yds Rush Defense (20)
148.8 yds Pass Offense (31) to  209.3 yds Pass Defense (11)
21.8 points scored (17)     to  20.0 points conceded (11)

252.3 yds Defense (1)       to  360.1 yds Offense (10)
98.6 yds Rush Defense (8)   to  88.9 yds Rush Offense (31)
153.7 yds Pass Defense (1)  to  271.1 yds Pass Offense (5)
14.8 points conceded (1)    to  28.4 points scored (4)

Should be an great matchup. Chargers high pass offense vs the leagues no. 1 pass defense will decide this game. The Chargers don't have much off a Rush offense so if the Jets can stop Rivers and his receivers then it's definitely game on. The Chargers have an average at best rush defense so if the Jets can minimise 3rd and long's to keep the pressure off rookie QB Sanchez then the Jets should be able to score enough points to win.

If Rivers gets going, or the Chargers defense stifle the Jets run then San Diego will win easy. It's a possibility but I doubt it will happen. Should be a tight back and forth game. Special Team's may end up the deciding factor also.

Spewing I have to go back to work Monday but I'll definitely be following the game online.

You are spot on there Westsider. If the Jets can keep the ball on the ground, they win, but I think they are going to have to fling it around.
