sth aust cup at gdp 9/1/2010

Postby bayman » Fri Jan 08, 2010 6:27 pm

the big night of the year at globe derby TOMorrow night, with the derby, trotters cup & the south australian cup to be run on what promises to be a great nights pacing/trotting, i'm sure there will be plenty of people packed on the lawns with their eskies full of food & drinks...i just hope that someone decides to put the airconditioner on in the morning to give it the best chance to work throughout the meeting, rather than turn it on at 4pm & the building then is never cool enough (upstairs)....little bayman will be collecting cans etc just like last year when he got about $40.00 from memory in about 50 minutes of collecting, this year he's determined to get $100.00 worth, good luck to those having a bet
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Hot weather
Some horses suspect travelling over in the heat
Horses form still ? becoz of the limited whip use
Unknown Victorian form [to me as never watch them]

Agree great night to roll up and see them in action
But not a great night to punt
I have invested about 50 % less than norMAL this meeting

Please note for those who take Interstate GDP Daily Doubles tonight
Usually these races are on race 5 and race 7
They have switched it ro race 4 and race 6 to fit in the Cup race

Smoken Up will attract a few more people thru the gates and then likely to steal our prizemoney

Shame on UniTab, SHAME SHAME SHAME.

Unitab Trots Jackpots consist of money pooled from j/pots from meetings from ALL states including obviously S.A. trots.
Tonight is S.A.s BIGGEST night of the year and the Quaddie consists of the Gp 3 Trotters Cup, Gp 1 Derby and the Gp 1 S.A. Pacing Cup.

Unitab have a Quaddie J/Pot on the trots tonight and guess which meeting they have put it on ????
No prizes for guessing ALBION PARK.  Total DIGRACE and a complete showing of DISRESPECT to S.A. trots and their loyal punters.

Also there is a $62,367 trifecta j/pot and u guessed it - Albion Park Race 1 and NOT the S.A. pacing cup.

Total ******G Joke.

Anyway, my advice is not to get angry BUT get even and have a go at smashing the Quaddie and Trifecta and fill your pockets with FREE money.

What excuse is Lance going to roll out after yet another defeat with Smokem Up ? May be a change of driver might do the trick.

No guns, no balakclavas, no Ned Kelly armour
Those Victorian based trainers and thier superior aniMALs come over year after year and steal our loot

R8-3 ''Wouldnt it be nice'' to shave the prizemoney by at least half and then perhaps some of our trainers might keep the cash

These one night stands are degrading our industry

Praise to Mark Peace on Cincinatti Kid  Forfeited any chance of winning or running a place by not handing up the death to Smokem Up. Surely it's up to the drivers to know their horses limitations.
