I think it could be a low scoring day today at Ararat and for that reason I like Pegus.

Two rides which look like point scorers, and 1 first starter trained by Dan O'Sullivan.

Have to agree, it looks a low scoring day.
I backed Pegus last week when near odds on fave & he scored two pts, so he's on my 'can't back' list for now.

Jack Hill has two strong rides late in the day.
If his two rides early on can sneak a pt or two he will be hard to hold out.

I will stay away then. I don't often back the country tracks other than in Adelaide.

Hope Bowman is riding tomorrow

Pegus certainly on my 'can't back' list after his ride on SA horse Right Fong in the Perth Cup too...!!

Im Going to Give Pegus another Chance today. I like Ripleys in the First should run well and I saw Sizzling bacon which wasn't the worst effort last start...

Fave Schubert gets a pt in the first on a $60 shot, not a good start for Graham - Need Schubert to miss pts early on.
