Great spell by Sami. He was making the ball talk out there. The one that got Watto was simply unplayable. He bowled an equally good aggot to Pup who was lucky enough to have missed it. Fantastic cricket by Pakistan but our boys (well, Mr Hitit anyway) are now starting to play a few shots.

BRING BACK THE KAT!

Right decision to bat first
Makes Kaniera bowl in the first and third innings
As Mr Rooster said Ponting and Hughes played poor shots

Whats the forecast for the next 4 days lads ?
Anymore stoppages expected ?

Thought Id mention this
To all the people who have called KAT/WATTO chokers, look what happens to AU when they dont get to about 90 runs

Ricky Ponting might sleep well tonight, he might not have to think about when to declare !

will be lucky to get 199

Oh dear, Clarke misses one and clean bowled. Good bowling but not very well played at all.

Could be skittled for under 100.
Mr Snicket still there!
I was expecting him to go early, but good on him for putting some stability into the innings.

When will Ricky declare? :)

I'd like to think the pitch is causing the problems, but it isn't. Some good bowling drawing the bats into false strokes.

The trouble with playing on roads is when you get on a deck with some give and the atmospheric conditions allow swing bowling the batters are in

I say welcome back to some decent cricket instead of batsman dominating the game, funny with some movement off the seam and movement in the air how things change for batsman

North could be very lucky. That looked pretty out to me live.

I agree with Chappelli on this one. The technology has robbed Pakistan of a wicket there.

Nothing wrong with the ball that got Hughes. Not a great shot but it wasn't a long hop by any means.

Have some serious doubts about Hawkeye that ball hit North under the knee roll

Not "good balls" as such, but good bowling. The way Hughes was playing, bowling 18 inches outside off was the way to go, and a shortish delivery first up to Ponting was also a good idea.
