If thats the only prob, lets give the faithful crowd some cricket
The umpires and the 2 captains can come to a mutual agreement b4 the toss
The usuage of multiple cricket balls during the innings
Change the ball every 20- 30 overs if neccessary with balls of similar usage
Why not ?
They have had a change of balls in limited overs games in the past

Not saying Rauf is any better, but Sami averages over 50 which is pretty poor.
