Went to one at Noarlunga a couple of years ago between Port and Freo. Was 40 deg that day but it was still good to watch AFL at a suburban ground.

Finally a chance to demonstrate some Northern hospitality to 2 AFL clubs
Hopefully it turns out to be PAFC v Western Bulldogs so we can show the power a REAL crowd with plenty of doggies scarves!!!

Wouldn't it be funny seing the Power outnumbered in their home state (not by Crows fans obviously). Although, alot of Port fans I know are from the Northern suburbs

Playing at Joondalup the same day, must be northern suburbs weekend. Should be brilliant.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

How many of the A's will be playing on any SA suburban ground.?

The AFL clubs have too much to lose playing their stars on inferior SA club grounds.

especially hard grounds in Pre-Season.
Smile :)

It's only Money $$$ :)

What is happening to our SANFL guys...

Yes, AFL footballers are such delicate creatures. I could swear the Crows train on a car park, Power on a suburban ground.

I would suggest the AFL would have sent someone to Elizabeth to inspect the playing surface before giving it the okay...

I'm certainly looking forward to seeing this AFL game at Elizabeth, hopefully Richmond might come over and Ben Nason can come back and play in front of his friends and family...

Centrals don't play AFL Mega Phillip, they play in the SANFL.

Yes, I meant his old ground, back to the place that gave him an opportunity to make it to the AFL

Didn't Nason come from Port originally (well, Magpies anyway) at the start of 2009. So in a sense could be playing his old club (if they do get the ok to merge and if Adelaide beat them)

just being silly...
