Strauss was looking good earlier smacking Ntini all around the joint.

Watched most of the day last night, good cricket.

Great batting by Steyn at the end, but their good partnership was let down by horrendous, dumb bowling by Ntini who was determined to bowl everything short. Stunningly poor cricket. Then Kallis came on to bowl off 5 paces, staggering. Then Steyn who was looking decent only got 3 overs and was then taken off. Came back later but still, strange move. Morkel was the only one bowling with a brain and control, got Strauss LBW but was overturned due to a slight inside edge. Then he got him a few minutes later with a beautiful ball that had stumps flying everywhere. Morkel is a gun, great knock by Strauss though who benefitted from awful bowling by the South Africans.

AND NOW

5/44 and can u believe it, DUMINY OUT Bld by Broad NOT playing a shot albeit he tried to let it go and played on for a Golden Duck.
Boucher survives the Hattrick with a single and next ball Smith snicks thru slips for 4. It's all happening.

Jackpot
Am bays

Its your perogative to dislike guys like Broad
Its my perogative to marvel at the prodigious talents that guys like Broad and my mate KP bring to cricket

I played cricket for 40 years and watched it longer
When I see exceptional talent I admire
As a player I would clap opposition players for thier efforts
As a renown expert commenets man on safooty I will praise any player who in my opinion excels

I once ventured to a cricket game and saw this dynamic opening batsman make a very good 50 on a ground in the NE suburbs
I was a spectator, I later thru contact told him what a good innings it was
Guess who that was ?

Another time at a GL/PA game at Alberton
I saw another great man for the first time, we were intoduced we hugged on the Alberton Oval
Guess who that was ?

You see even from first hand experience AM+ JJ I am a gratious person in the reverence of talented humans

Graeme Smith has admitted the decision over Makhaya Ntini's place in South Africa's line-up is a "sensitive" issue, but unlike during the build-up to the previous Test at Durban he didn't give the struggling fast bowler his unqualified support.

Two days on from the Kingsmead Test, Smith confirmed that Ntini would retain his place in the starting line-up at the expense of Friedel de Wet, but after a performance where he went wicketless through 29 overs the captain was no longer able to offer that backing.
