For those bagging Hauritz despite his better than acceptable performances in England and against the West Indies keep in mind the guy is carrying an injury to his spinning finger which is why Steve Smith was rushed in as cover on the eve of the 3rd Test against the windies.

Did Ponting forget he had Watson in the team? I would have thought he'd swung an over or two at some stage. Certainly would have been better value than Siddle.

And congratulations to Mitchell Johnson for doing whatever he did :D

he is the 5th player to acomplish 50 test wickets & 500 runs in a calendar year.....hadlee, botham, dev (all twice) & vettori.....i know with the advent of more test matches during the year helps to accumalate the wickets & runs but nevertheless a great accomplishment
