So what colours or nickname are BSR going to come in with.

Any ideas/thoughts.

Would they be allowed to be red, black and white like St Kilda (old Gerard colours - IIRC) or because these are the RFL colours this wouldn't be allowed.

I'd be up for us being the Saints, we've got the AGM coming up to decide on colours and jumper design among other things as well.

Nothing has been decided yet. Got a text on Tuesday saying the new club colours will be decided at the AGM on 13th of Jan. Can anyone tell me what colours /nicknames are already taken in this league

you would definitely have to come out of retirement then sparky to pull on a saints jumper!! A traditional footy nickname would be good like the Saints or the Demons as long as it isn’t something stupid like the Crows or anything!!

Lyrup were the Saints and wore Maroon & white prior to mid 1980's.

Gerard wore red, white and black and were the Hawks back in the 1980's

BSR could stick to a red & blue strip similar to the Melbourne away jumper and wear white shorts with it. To top it all off they could call themselves the 'Bulls'.

I am sure Ramco were were told not red white and black. I guess this would not have changed. There is a lot of red and blue running around in the Indys. surely they wouldn't be allowed to use either of those colours.

Maybe Red and Black? Could still be the dogs or blood hounds.

Blue and White hoops and call them the Cats. Then they'd know what it feels like playing in the same colours as the Greatest Team of All. Go Geelong!!!!!!!!!!

rfl has said no to red white and black as its association colours. rocky wore a pink shirt to the meeting and there were alot of calls for that to be the new strip.

Talk to me when they've won three in a row BC.
Then they're a champion team and not a bunch of show ponys.
