probably just stay at home, me and the missus, drinking beer and wine and eating as much as we can fit in
kids are now grown up and living away from home, we are in Port Augusta and the kids and the rest of the family are in Adelaide
so a nice quiet day for us :)

No plans - we used to visit my wife's elderly family members on Christmas Day and hold our own day at home for friends on Boxing Day.
[ My wife used to bake her own buns for Easter and run an open house for friends that weekend too.]

Out with rellies from Dad's side Christmas Eve for dinner (to compensate for not going to dinner christmas night for the first time in my life...gonna seem a bit weird). Breakfast Christmas Morning and probably a bit of lunch overlooking the beach at North Haven with uncles aunts and cousins, then home in the afternoon for a rest before a quiet dinner at home. Then probably will attempt to do something resembling exercise so I won't feel so guilty about everything i will have eaten!

Somewhere in there will try to watch carols by candlelight to see Humphery and Denis Walter!!
Trust the process.

Christmas eve headin to the In Laws for an Asatho (South American BBQ, and they are AMAZING!!!) we'll be there until probably early morning, then Christmas communion at church followed by my aunty's place for lunch then having a few people at our place for dinner after about 6ish, mostly people we know who don't have a lot of family here and will most likely be bored come Christmas night.

won't be seeing ewither set of parents as they are in Arizona (wifeys') and my old girl is up in Tibooburra (near the top corner of NSW) and dad is in Melbourne.
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Will be doing the German thing (Father Christmas comes on Christmas Eve, not Christmas Day for Deutche descendants) and exchange presents with my family Christmas Eve after watching the kiddy's do the usual nativity play at church. Will be back there for Christmas Day lunch and tea.

Wife's family will wait until 2nd/3rd Jan as father-in-law is working this Christmas, that involves a trip to the Riverland.

Christmas lunch with my parents and dinner with the in-laws.

Up early no doubt with the twins.

Christmas lunch at the in-laws place. Off the piss too, so that will be a first for 20 odd years, where I haven't been absolutely blotto come lunch time. Then heading down to the river with all my relatives for a BBQ tea and all the kids can go kneeboarding and wakeboarding etc. Then off to bed nice and early so I'm primed for my first day back on it for a month, for a mate's buckshow in town. If you come across a bloke dressed up as Willie Mason, that's me :D

The home of the Roo, Waikerie. Well Ramco actually, but close enough! My Grandma & Uncle & Aunt live in Loxton too and my mum grew up there so I head up river a fair bit.

Might duck up with the bro's for some fishing between Christmas/New Year too, love it up there. :D
